Kimberlyli Dec. 10th 2007 The Whispering Road by Livi Michael
Many years ago, two kids Joe and his sister Annie were sent to an orphanage also known as a farm by their mom. There, they are treated cruely by a family of farmers. Then, one cold winter night years later, Joe and Annie are sent out into a shed in the middle of the night as a punishment with some other kids. Taking that chance, Joe and Annie escape and begin their journey looking for their mom, believing that she is still looking for them. Through this journey, Joe learns many lessons and goes through many experiences. In the end, Joe finds his mother dead in the hospital after he finds Annie after he abandoned her. This moving book is good for anyone who likes a bit of fantasy, realistic fiction and a lot of genres mixed together in an exciting, flowing story.
